Why Choose Invisalign®

Why Choose Invisalign®

Invisalign® clear aligner trays have revolutionized orthodontics. The effectiveness and popularity of the Invisalign system has inspired many copycats, but none that produce the same fast, effective, and reliable results. And nine million happy smiles support that assertion!

At SmileBoutique in Mount Vernon, New York our team recommends Invisalign’s clear, comfortable, BPA-free aligners to resolve any alignment problems with your teeth. Here’s why Invisalign is better than traditional braces, or even other clear aligner trays.

Invisalign is invisible!

If you had braces as a kid, or if you’ve seen photos of your parents, you were probably distressed by the obvious metal brackets and wires that announce to the world that you’re fixing your teeth. One of the revolutionary aspects of Invisalign is that its patented SmartTrack® materials are crystal clear.

Invisalign aligner trays are so transparent that they can’t be seen except when very close up. We also custom-fit the trays to match your natural gum line, for extra discretion.

Invisalign is faster

Invisalign only takes 12-18 months on average to straighten your teeth, which is 50% faster than other corrective treatments. Depending on your individual case, though, your teeth could move even faster than that.

Invisalign’s speed makes it a good choice for both busy adults and self-conscious teens. Instead of waiting years to unveil your smile, you get to spend your next birthday showing off your beautiful, straight teeth.

Invisalign is patented

Lots of new clear aligner brands have followed Invisalign, hoping to emulate its success. But Invisalign is the only clear alignment brand that uses patented SmartTrack materials.

SmartTrack applies constant, gentle pressure to your teeth, which encourages them to move into their new positions. This allows your teeth to re-align faster and more comfortably than traditional braces or other aligner trays. It’s also more effective than graduated trays that aren’t made with SmartTrack.

Invisalign is custom-made

Each Invisalign tray starts when we use an iTero Element® scanner to create a precise map of your current tooth positions. The lab uses this 3D digital model of your unique teeth and bite to sculpt a custom fit for your upper and lower trays.

Invisalign lets you see your results before you start

After scanning your teeth, we then devise a detailed plan that ends with your more perfectly aligned teeth. We send your 3D tooth map and his plan to the Invisalign lab.

When you come in to pick up your trays, we show you a video that demonstrates how your teeth will move out of their present position into their well-aligned and perfect new positions. Seeing for yourself how beautiful your smile will make it easy to wear the trays as directed.

Invisalign works for everyone

No matter what your teeth look like at first, Invisalign can help correct them. If you have particularly troublesome teeth, we use SmartForce® to add pressure to specific areas of your teeth. These small tooth-colored attachments are also nearly invisible.

Invisalign constantly innovates

The researchers at Invisalign aren’t content to sit on their laurels and enjoy the praise of more than nine million patients. They use feedback and advances in technology to improve the materials, process, and fitting of Invisalign. When you receive your aligners, you’re getting the best, most advanced treatment possible.
